Claude C. Lapp
Principal Architect

After graduating with a B.S. in Architecture from The Catholic University of America in 1978, Claude (“Chris”) went to work for a well-known residential firm, Patterson and Worland. It was through this apprenticeship and his six years of field experience in the construction industry that enabled Chris to then successfully establish his own firm, “Claude C. Lapp, Architects” in 1992.

Chris is dedicated to working closely with his design team and insists on taking a hands-on approach with every single project. He is directly involved with the quality initiatives including design excellence and technical delivery. He is always taking continuing education courses to better his knowledge of the ever-changing construction industry.

His six years of field experience in the construction industry, as well as his love of solving puzzles, has given him the ability to design projects that give his clients a sense of home while falling within their expected budgets.

Chris is involved in many organizations including: The Knights of Columbus, Civitan, Rebuilding Together, Youth Football, and other various volunteer activities.
