ABOUT THE PROJECT
This truly unique project begin with a historic, 1943 home in Chevy Chase. With the help of the "Historic Moves" Renovation Studio, we assisted with the subdivision of a lot and creation of a brand new foundation, allowing us to preserve this original Dutch colonial. The interior of this home was meticulously renovated, keeping in mind its original style and historic charm. Stunning modern appointments can be found throughout the home, such as gorgeous hardwood floors (with herringbone detailing), elegant coffered ceilings, modern light fixtures, and a chef's dream kitchen that is perfectly suited to this homeowner's individual needs and aesthetic. With the help of Jim Ochs of CAS Engineering, our team was proud to be a part of this unique opportunity to preserve a piece of history.
